After losing one of her ovaries in 7th grade and watching her mother go through early menopause, the thought of whether Kelsey Kiel could have the option to be a mother someday has lingered in her mind. Morning Chalk Up’s Lauren Kalil sits down with Kiel in a candid conversation to discuss what the process was like for her, how topics like this are typically “taboo” and how she wants to help break that stigma, and why it was important for her to take control of her future.
