Following Abhyanga which requires rubbing your body with oil and massaging it well before bathing is advised as per Ayurveda. This helps in restoring the moisture in skin while keeping the blood circulation running. During winter, one may also get little to no sun exposure, hence, sitting out and soaking in the sun after applying oil is advised before bathing with warm water.
According to a recent study, hot water therapy may help enhance metabolism, control inflammation, and blood sugar (glucose) levels, especially in overweight males. Try taking frequent warm baths if you don't have time for a specific exercise routine.
