The new model will outperform even the 832 hp Mercedes-AMG GT 4 63 S 4Matic+ E Performance

The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door as we know it won’t survive into a second generation. Instead, it will be succeeded by an all-new electric sedan targeting the Porsche Taycan. Drawing inspiration from the design of the new AMG GT sports car, Mercedes’ upcoming sedan may resemble this rendering.
ironically, to design this take on the new electric sedan, independent designer Theottle started out with a Porsche Taycan and proceeded to graft many components of the AMG GT coupe onto it. The process is intricate but the result is a car that looks much sportier and sexy than the outgoing AMG GT 4-Door.

The overall shape of the car immediately distinguishes it from the current model. It sits much lower and has a shorter hood, giving it slightly more balanced proportions. We think the large front grille of the coupe works well on the sedan and also like the presence of the same headlights and taillights.
Recent spy shots of the car indicate that it should be quite the looker, but it’s too early to say how similar it will look to the car depicted in these renderings.
Beyond the looks, we know the car will be underpinned by Mercedes’ new AMG.EA architecture. It is tipped to rock a slim battery pack from Sila Nanotechnologies in the U.S. while relying on electric motors from Britain’s Yasa. The potent sedan electric could pump out upwards of 1,000 hp, providing it with significantly more grunt than the existing AMG GT 4 63 S 4Matic+ E Performance with its 832 hp. Of course, the new car will lack that iconic AMG V8 soundtrack but we’re sure it will still be a hit among buyers.
Mercedes-AMG hasn’t announced a launch date for the new model but CarScoops believes it could reach showrooms in 2025. That means we may see it later this year.
