• The only Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 finished in Luci del Bosco over a Bianco Leda interior.
  • Originally delivered in Germany, it shows only 110 km (68 miles) on the odometer.
  • One of the 112 examples of the modern-day Countach produced.

We’ve encountered many interesting examples of the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, but the one you see here that’s heading for auction, is easily among the best looking. The combination of a brown exterior, gold wheels, and white interior sets it apart from the 112 units of the modern Countach revival, exuding strong Miura vibes.

Moreover, its minimal delivery mileage and impeccable showroom condition further enhance its appeal among collectors.

The Luci del Bosco paint finish has been featured on five Countach models, including one of the first examples delivered in the US back in August 2022. However, the model slated for auction at RM Sotheby’s Monaco event in May is the sole one to pair this color with a Bianco Leda (white) interior. Inside, the cabin showcases Nero Ade accents and Bronze stitching, with Lamborghini emblems embroidered on the headrests to match.

Other exterior highlights include the matte bronze wheels, which contrast beautifully with the black brake calipers, and the exposed carbon fiber accents. According to the listing, the “tastefully muted color scheme is a welcome contrast to the often brash hues of other Lamborghinis, serving to underscore the more refined persona of this timeless classic”.

This particular example of the limited-production supercar from Sant’Agata was acquired by its original owner in Germany and has only 110 km (68 miles) on the odometer. This explains the showroom condition of both the exterior and the interior, leading us to believe that the raging bull was only taken outside for the photoshoot.

The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 shares its underpinnings and mild-hybrid V12 with the limited-production Sián FKP 37. Both models are based on the chassis of the discontinued Aventador. In the Countach, the naturally aspirated V12 and a single electric motor produce a combined 803 hp (599 kW / 814 PS), allowing it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds.

Hopefully, the new owner will put those horses to the test. RM Sotheby’s estimates that the special Countach will fetch anywhere between €1,900,000 to €2,300,000 ($2,000,000 to $2,500,000). We will find out just how much it’s worth to someone on May 11, 2024.
