Rosie O'Donnell Joins 'And Just Like That...' for Season 3 - PEOPLE

Rosie O'Donnell is headed back to television!

The comedian, who previously hosted her own talk show and later served as moderator on The View, is joining the cast of Max's And Just Like That... for season 3.

She last appeared on television in the Showtime series American Gigolo in 2022.

On May 1, O'Donnell, 62, posted a shot on Instagram of the season 3 premiere script for the Sex and the City revival series while revealing her character name: Mary. The episode, titled "Outlook Good," is written and directed by executive producer Michael Patrick King.

"Here comes mary #andjustlikethat @hbo," she wrote in the caption, tagging the streamer's parent company HBO.

In the Instagram post, O'Donnell also shared a shot of herself presumably in character, with soft, mid-length gray waves, an olive jacket and a black undershirt.

She posted the same photo again, asking her fans, "U like?"

Earlier on May 1, series lead Sarah Jessica Parker posted her own photos of several season 3 scripts, tagging her costars Kristin Davis (Charlotte), Cynthia Nixon (Miranda), Mario Cantone (Anthony), Nicole Ari Parker (Lisa), Sarita Choudhury (Seema) and Katerina Tannenbaum (Lisette).

Karen Pittman, who played Miranda's professor-turned-friend Nya Wallace, announced in March she would not be returning to the series for its third season.

At the end of season 3, Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw found herself with a brand new house but no boyfriend, as her on-off beau Aidan Shaw, played by John Corbett, returned to Virginia to parent his troubled son Wyatt.

Season 3 of And Just Like That... is slated to premiere on HBO in 2025.
