Trump’s winning, and the Dems don’t like it - Boston Herald

No matter what bogus investigations or political grenades hateful Democrats sling at the president, their go-nowhere efforts keep blowing up in their faces, making utter fools of the left.

This week we saw President Trump acquitted in the Senate trial on both articles of impeachment, making House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., and Adam Schiff, D-Calif., look like Larry, Moe and Curly from the Three Stooges.

After all these clowns told us about the “overwhelming evidence” against the president and how it justified his removal from office, it turns out the only Republican they could convince was Mitt Romney.

You know Mitt, the two-time loser who’s better at strapping his dog to the roof of the car for family road trips than winning presidential elections.

Then came Trump’s well received State of the Union speech. The president effectively highlighted his administration’s many achievements of the past three years including the soaring economy, historically low unemployment and higher wages fueled by historic trade deals with China and the passage of the USMCA.

Whether you like or dislike the president, no one can deny he’s delivering on his promises to the American people.

The Trump administration is fixing our broken immigration system, combating human trafficking and the opioid crisis, lowering prescription drug prices and has decimated ISIS.

The president has rebuilt our depleted military and succeeded in getting NATO allies to pay their fair share in military defense, saving U.S. taxpayers billions, to name a few feathers in his cap.

Trump’s delivery of the State of the Union was so successful Nancy Pelosi literally had a temper tantrum on the rostrum and ripped up a copy of his speech like a petulant child.

Her act of disrespect during the time-honored event caused major backlash with the American people.

But that’s not all went terribly wrong for Democrats this week as another fiasco demonstrated the party is unfit to run the government.

At the Iowa caucuses, Democrats showed the country they can’t even tally votes for their own candidates. And this is the party that wants us to trust them with overhauling our entire health care system, affecting 330 million Americans, and manage our country’s other complex problems?

Seriously? These are the same folks that had years to prepare for the caucuses and couldn’t even get an app to work.

Now add the latest blowout employment report showing that at least 225,000 new jobs were added in January. Along with those numbers, the president’s approval rating hit 49% this week in a recent Gallup poll — up 10 points since November. The survey also showed 63% approve of Trump’s handling of the economy.

It’s no wonder Pelosi ripped up the president’s speech.

America is winning again and she knows it.
