Here Are The Curfews In Illinois Wednesday Night - Patch.com

ILLINOIS — As protests over the death of George Floyd continue across the country, some Illinois cities have responded by announcing curfews in an attempt to crack down on demonstrations after several grew chaotic — including incidents in Naperville and Chicago — over the weekend and Monday night.

Curfews generally do not apply to essential workers, who may leave their homes to travel to and from work.

Many curfews expired Tuesday morning, but some cities have chosen to extend their curfews further into the week.

Curfews in effect for the night of Wednesday, June 3:

• Aurora: 8:30 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday
• Batavia: 7 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday
• Burbank: 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday
• Chicago: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (until further notice)
• Chicago Heights: 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday
• Crest Hill: 8 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday
• Evergreen Park: 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday
• Joliet: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. (until further notice)
• Lemont: 9 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday
• Oak Lawn: 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday
• Palos Park: 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday
• Waukegan: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. (until further notice)
