A look at today’s Edmonton weather by Environment Canada.
Monday morning temperatures at the Edmonton Blatchford station measured 15 C with 9 km/h winds out of the southwest.
Well, last week was nice had some clouds and some heat and some rain.
Looks like this week it’s not just going to be hot but hot, hot, HOT!
And not just during the day it looks like even at night it’s not dipping down to a cool 10 C or 9 C nay nay!
So come on heat lovers let’s love some heat.
On a serious note though there is a heat warning of the city of Edmonton and Environment Canada does recommend taking the following precautions:
– Consider rescheduling outdoor activities to cooler hours of the day.
– Take frequent breaks from the heat, spending time in cooled indoor spaces where possible.
– Drink plenty of water and other non-alcoholic, non-caffeinated beverages to stay hydrated.
– Check for your children or pets before you exit your vehicle. Do not leave any person or pet inside a closed vehicle, for any length of time.
