This may look like a forecast model for Tropical Storm Eta, which soaked South Florida Monday and was moving off into the Gulf of Mexico last we checked. But it’s not. It’s actually a snapshot of the insides of our brains as seen on Nov. 9, 2020.
The blue line is any hopes and dreams we might have had in January.
The orange line with the hard right turn blasting toward disaster is COVID-19.
The purple line is our relationships with friends and families, hanging on by a thread.
The pink line is our bank statements, ha-ha-ha!
The yellow line is the election!!!
The aqua line, the one going through Tampa Bay, is the Tampa Bay Rays losing the World Series.
The gray line is The Bachelorette.
The red line is that one steady friend who reminds you not to panic, to check your tuna packets and water and to calm down. Whatever, red line.
