The interior will be significantly more luxurious with a standard 10-inch touchscreen and an optional 12-inch display. Connectivity systems like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot should also be standard fare.
Under the hood is where the most interesting changes are expected. For starters, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine will probably come standard and a 3.6-liter V6 with hybrid assist will be optional. Plug-in hybrid and diesel models also seem probable. A V8 is expected but it may not last for the SUV's entire lifetime. Jeep has not yet provided an official reveal date but we expect this to happen sometime in the first half of 2021 with production kicking off next summer.
