TOKYO (Fort Wayne's NBC) - The Olympics are officially underway, kicking off with the opening ceremony that folks can catch in full Friday night right here on Fort Wayne's NBC.
A team to look out for during the games, Team U.S.A. with 613 athletes in total.
First Lady Jill Biden was one of the few to witness the opening ceremony in person.
The ceremony showed Team U.S. in the Parade of Nations where the flag-bearers included Eddy Alvarez and Sue Bird.
