Here's what Bud Light's Houston Texans cans, bottles look like this season - Chron

We got an early look at Bud Light's specialty Houston Texans cans and bottles that will hit local store shelves Monday.

This is the seventh year that Bud Light, as the NFL's official beer sponsor, has produced team-specific cans for local markets. This year's design is supposed to feature "personalized team rally cries to bring fans back together to cheer on their squad from the stadium, couch or bar."

For the Texans, that means, along with the team logo, the cans and bottles also say "H-Town" and "We are Texans." Sorry, Clay Walker, "It's football time in Houston," didn't make the cut.

Other markets got similar treatment. The Chiefs' beer says "Chiefs Kingdom" and "Touchdown Kan-sas City!," which is the trademark call of the team's radio broadcaster Mitch Holthus. The Eagles can says "Fly Eagles Fly" and "E-A-G-L-E-S! Eagles."
